TWO WOLVES 06:25
Low tide reveals skeletons buried. Two wolves, each telling different tales. One dead inside; the other on the edge of the cliff. Wallow in misery. Helpless in your own despair. Dead eyes reveal. . . Two wolves become one to feast on the flesh. A cold, lifeless husk - all that is left. Numb to this and everything you are.

PEDIGREE 11:16
Man's pursuit of pedigree betrays his nature. Though the intent true. . . conquer and subjugate. For the sake of our time, do not let it expose. Are we in line? Conquered. Subservient. Conquer and subjugate though your intent be true. Subject those beneath to cruelty. Dismissal from society. Bends the foolish to his will. The perception of unity. For the sake of our time, do not let it expose. Are we in line? Each whim fulfilled. Each trespass permitted. A procession of perversion. Man rises above himself. Don't let it expose for the sake of our time. Man rises above himself.

COWARD 11:00
Drunken whiskey nights precede worthless days. I don't realize what this has done to me. I rot away. Drunken whiskey days turn into sleepless nights. Broken empty shell. All that is left of me. I rot away in this grave. Just fucking say it. Coward. There's no loneliness like walking hand in hand with you.
4.
PHANTOM LIMB 05:23
Severed from the things that make me me. Taken away, but the pain still remains. Incomplete. Still searching for answers. Always coming up short. Feel the pain of sacrifice for nothing. The veil is fading and this facade has nearly run its course. Know the pain of sacrifice for nothing. Fake another smile. Wear another mask. You will never know this pain. Wear your mask.
5.
FALSIFIER 10:17
There is no autonomy when your thoughts aren't even your own. Falsify a connection, you know that you've never been so alone. History has a way of repeating now that love has turned to failure. No turning away. Inescapable trajectory. We accelerate blindly. It's not enough to see what remains in the wake of deception. This path you've left behind. No light to see this path. No life remains. This path you've left behind. There is no light to see what we've become in the wake of failure. You know you've never felt so alone now that even your thoughts aren't your own. Look at what we've become. What remains in the wake of failure. Choke on your last breath. Look at what we've become. Death surrounds us. Death surrounds us. Death surrounds us.

about

Monolith returns with their first release as a full band. While existing within a sound-world which is recognizably ‘doom’, TWO WOLVES represents a shift to a more personal and idiosyncratic style; a uniquely jarring, angular, and cathartic brand of sludge which boils over the clichés of the genre.
